New Patients
You can book your first appointment at May St Dental Centre by phone, email or online. Then, we’ll send you a patient introduction letter that includes a medical questionnaire and other relevant information to prepare you for your first visit.
What to Expect
When you arrive, our friendly staff will greet you. You can browse magazines or our coffee table books in the spacious reception area. Water, coffee and tea are available if there are a few minutes before you are brought back to the dentist. A children’s corner keeps the kids busy with toys and storybooks.
You’ll be escorted back to see your dentist. If no pressing treatment is required, we’ll take some time to get to know you and discuss your oral health concerns. Your dentist will detail what we will do next, which is a dental examination of the teeth, gums and soft tissues of the mouth. Digital X-rays are taken if necessary, as well as photographs. Any further care necessary will be discussed with you.
If you are experiencing tooth pain or another dental emergency, we’ll address it straightaway.
Payment Information
We accept all health funds and have a HICAPS machine. If you do not have coverage, we work with DentiCare and can help you arrange a payment plan.
